Gráfica is a four-artists exhibition of graphic-based work of Gustavo Abascal, Daphne Bally, Rodolfo Díaz Cervantes and Adolfo Martínez (Mr. Adolfito). This exhibition brings shows different kinds of supports, materials and themes in each work. It shows the idea of permanence through personal experiences, ideas and circumstances.

Gustavo Abascal (Mexico, 1979) presents a tryptic called Basurero (dumpster).It represents the circle of life and durability of all the objects that sooner or later will end in the garbage. It shows the idea of how every dumpster is created with all those objects that once were useful. This place full of things that are constantly moving, creates a changing space full of unique and monumental forms.

Daphné Bally (Mexico, 1984) shows in the series Home, different draws made of water-paint, where she represents some architectures from different parts of the world. Each one represents the idea of the permanence of an idea, a memory, an attraction or a feeling that the artist lived when she saw each building. The idea of permanence lives in the idea of creating in each draw, the way she felt or how she remembers each place. In the end, it doesn’t matter if the architecture it’s identical, the only thing that matters is to make that feeling last forever.

Rodolfo Díaz Cervantes (Mexico, 1980) presents a series of works created with the union of adhesive tapes with different colors. With this action, the artist shows his artistic practice in which the creative process is shown in each work aiming to discover different forms and figures linked to an expression or a subject.

Adolfo Martínez, Mr. Adolfito (Mexico, 1976) presents 8 booklets where he shows some of the works, ideas and things that crossed over his mind during the past months. Preserving his very spontaneous thoughts and things of his life, makes each booklet a personal diary of his thoughts and creative ideas. People can find fluorescent zombies, personal notes, cartoon characters, mexican wrestlers and more.
